If the IP has been trying to access your NAS Server then block it. Make sure you're blocking Incoming Connections as well too.
Seems like a Arab Emirates (reverse origin location) remote controlled zombie device in a Amsterdam's canal "tourist boat" or something.

I just implemented a new QNAP NAS and I have come under the same attack. It looks to me as if someone is specifically targeting QNAP servers. My router and firewalls are going crazy and at times it is slowing down my network to the point I would call it a denial of service attack.
This jackass has been trying to get into my NAS, Can't anybody put him out of business for good.

This IP (185.198.57.185)is permanently been blocked by my QNAP firewall. Strange thing is I have no port forwarding.Only connection to the outside world is via QNAP-Cloud.Nobody should even know that I own a QNAP. Maybe the QNAP-Cloud is not as secure as we would like...

It looks like someone from this IP is trying to hack into my QNAP Nas. I get about one attempt per hour at the moment. This is unacceptable.
The IP in question is: 185.198.57.185 That is the one attempting to access my QNAP NAS without consent. And it is causing unwanted internet traffic.
